Alex Niggemann, born in 1984 in Düsseldorf, Germany, is a visionary DJ, producer, and label owner based in Berlin. Initially trained as a classical pianist, he found piano limiting and explored rap and stylewriting as a teenager. A techno party at 15 shifted his focus, and by 16, he was DJing and producing, starting with techno before embracing house. His breakthrough came in 2006 with a remix of Booka Shade’s "Darko," leading to releases on Poker Flat, Get Physical, Compost Black Label, Tsuba, Soma, and 8bit. He founded AEON and Soulfooled, showcasing his innovative sound. Niggemann’s career is marked by creativity, with performances at global venues and a reputation for pushing electronic music boundaries.
