Shay De Castro, based in Los Angeles, is a rising techno star who defied the odds, coming from a city with no electronic music clubs. A musician since childhood, her obsession with techno began in her teens, leading her to hack school computers to discuss music with European friends. Now in her 20s, she’s made a mark with potent productions and high-energy performances at venues like The Secret Garden Guatemala, Superior Ingredients NYC, Tanzhaus West Frankfurt, and Amsterdam Dance Event. Her releases on Factory 93, Kraftek, Respekt Recordings, and her own Revolution Records have earned support from Adam Beyer, ANNA, Pleasurekraft, and Amelie Lens. Shay’s sound, marked by brazenly thumping atmospheres, resonates with global audiences.
